Kick start your staff Christmas with an unlimited golf ball Driving Range session at Orlando Country    

A fully hosted range session with everything you need to entertain your work colleagues, clients or special guests including bar tab competitions and spot prizes.

Sharing platters and refreshments are available for purchase during your session
'pre-orders' available for serving on arrival.

How the day works.

Based on your selected time slot, our staff will be there to greet you on arrival, with guests able to purchase a drink from the bar before heading outside to mingle on the veranda with a few warm up balls to get your eye in.
As a menu starter we will shout you a platter of wedges for every 5 guests with additional items able to be ordered as required anytime within the first hour of your session.
Orlando Country staff are with you every step of the way, encouraging everyone to have go and get involved with multiple competitions running during your stay including our famous “orange ball” bar tab comp!

All sessions must be charged as 1 payment, but menu items and drinks can be either cash bar or charged to account if required.
We supply all clubs and an endless supply of balls with drinks and menus charged extra.
Menu pre-orders are a great idea if you are wanting platters served soon after arrival.
We have multiple session durations to suit with up to 3 hours max available.

OVERVIEW

Sessions are based on a standard 2 hour duration with extensions subject to availability
Your bays are hosted by Orlando staff with everything you need to entertain your colleagues, clients or special guests including bar tab competitions and spot prizes.
Designed by request, our 'Christmas on the range' sessions are for small to medium size groups wanting a casual approach to their staff do with leaners and sharing style platters available.
Unlimited driving range balls and clubs are supplied by Orlando Country ensure the entertainment continues throughout your entire stay.

THE CONCEPT

Simple but fun with a good balance of activities, refreshments and food.
With fully-hosted sessions, we aim to keep your staff/guests engaged with by adapting to appropriate levels of skill ensuring everyone has a chance at winning.

THE FOOD (available for purchase)

Our sharing platter menu has something for everyone and because all groups have varying appetites, budgets and preferences, we have decided to let you make your own selections from our menu.

We will even shout you a starter platter of loaded wedges to be served soon after arrival.

 You can pre-order a selection of platters and we will have these ready for you approx 30 minutes after arrival with additional platters ordered if required.
A great selection of refreshments which can be either tabbed on consumption to one account or via cash bar.
We also have instant bar tab competitions running during your session.

FAQ’s.

 

Can we have the place to ourselves? 
Yes, Orlando Country may be booked exclusively however certain conditions apply so please enquire.
As a rough idea minimum charged numbers will allow exclusive use of the venue but also does depend on individual business requirements i.e usually numbers over 150 guests for the Christmas on the range option on a Friday or Saturday evening and approx. 100 for Sunday - Thursday day or evening . (excludes day events, please enquire if you would like exclusive use of the venue or a private room during the day) 
Standard or non exclusive events are based on a shared space with other businesses and guests in attendance, with your own area on the driving range and you would be seated together for dinner. This enables smaller groups ie just 4 or 5 guests to be able to book a Christmas Function at Orlando Country.

Can we split our account and pay individually on the day? 
Not sorry we do not accept split payments… only single payments for your group. This can be either on the day or we would issue a single invoice after your event.

We are just a small group of 6 people, can we still book? 
Yes this is not a problem, we would love to host you and do our best to slot you in on a night or day that suits your small group.

We would like to just book a bay and casually order off the ‘Cafe Menu’ please? 
Standard cafe dining is limited in availability during Nov / Dec, with forward bookings only taken 5 days in advance, so please enquire within this period only. 

What is included in our option? 
Venue hire / bay hire, golf balls clubs and staff run range competitions are all including in all packages with menu and drinks extr, although we do supply a platter of loaded Orlando wedges per 5 guests

Can we bring our own food & alcohol? 
No food or alcohol is to be brought onto any area of the property without the express permission of management. This includes anywhere within the entire property owned by the Orlando Country & includes all access ways, carpark’s & the golf course - (In order to protect our license, your group will be requested to leave the property if this does occur). 

Can we make changes to the menu? 
All menus are pre-set, but do allow for special dietary requirements to be catered for, so please let us know in advance if any of your guests require this. 

When do our final numbers need to be confirmed? 
We would expect to please be kept up to date as best as possible and do require reservations to be within 10% of booked numbers, otherwise, depending on the day of the week we require this as a minimum number of guests to be invoiced for, final minimum numbers and any dietaries are required 10 days prior to your event with this also being the minimum number to be charged for. 

Do we need to use a transport option? 
We certainly prefer you to have transport pre-arranged to coincide with your set itinerary to avoid our “time extension” charge of $15.00pp per hour for all guests on site 30 minutes beyond the itinerary. 

What are our payment options? 
An invoice can be issued to existing clients of Orlando Country Club & new clients are more than welcome to contact us to set up an account you may pay by credit card (1.9% credit card fee). 

Can we bring our own prizes?
Yes, provided they are not alcohol related

Do you have prizes we can give out?
We have the Orlando win a bar tab up for grabs each night for everyone to have a go at + the Orlando Store has plenty of corporate gifts as well, we can even make up gift baskets in advance

Do we need to be a business to book? 
Not at all, if one of the options happens to suit, then we would be more than happy to accept your booking, although do note that we do not split payments on the day with single payment required.

What age restriction do you have? 
All guests must under the age of 18 must be introduced to our duty manager on arrival & all children under 16yrs must be fully supervised by an adult at all times. We request that all guardians report to us on arrival so that we can point out all danger areas within the property & advise on safe boundaries to keep children within. We don’t have a definite age restriction although we assume common sense would prevail unless your group has exclusive use for the Country Club during your event. 

Can we arrive early and have a few drinks before our session starts or stay on afterwards? 
All sessions are for set times only with the bar only available for the duration of your session and not before or after as due to COVID restrictions and staff re-setting for events we require all areas other than the bays area to be cleared. 

Does our small group of 15 get a private space to ourselves? 
Yes, all groups are in individual bays.

Can we just arrive when suits us? 
No sorry as all Christmas functions including the range options are based on set itineraries & we request that you keep to this as best as possible so that your guests don’t miss out on portions of the day or evening & other groups or guests are not inconvenienced.
If however you have exclusive use for the evening then we are happy to work in around your specific needs if possible. 

Can we run a bar tab for our group? 
Yes, most groups run bar tabs - please let us know in advance & we can set this up for you. 

Are food and drinks included? 
We include a platter of wedges as a menu starter with all other food and drinks at extra cost.

Do I need to pay a deposit and what happens if we cancel our booking? 
Rather than charging and needing to manage a non refundable deposit, we have in- stead implemented a simple cancellation fee policy.
This policy is based on 20% of your expected spend should you cancel your booking within 60 days of your event. 

Who would we be sharing the venue with? 
We try to match groups as best as possible and will give you a good indication as to the type of group that is already booked in. If you have booked in and are worried about who we may put in with you then please just ask.

Do you offer transport? 
We don’t offer transport, but do have contacts that will ensure the safe departure of your guests, so please contact us in advance should you require this.

Is there a discount for children? 
As Nov / Dec is primarily our “corporate event” period, we do not have provision for children attending unless you have exclusive use of the venue. 

How long can we stay? 
All Christmas function options have set itineraries... please check your selection for timings and ensure transport is pre-organised as we are unable to host guests after their session due to COVID restrictions.
